State of the Art Symposium on Auditory Brainstem Implants
in Uppsala June 29th 2010.
Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the organizers and the international faculty we welcome you to the city of Uppsala - the residence of our well renowned colleagues Carl Linnaeus and Robert Barany. Uppsala is also proud of its 15th century university and now we are celebrating that three centuries have passed since the establishment of our university hospital.
It is not only history, tradition as well as the beautiful and interesting sights and scenery we hope will attract you to Uppsala. It is our aim to present to you the latest advances in research and clinical application in the field of auditory brainstem and mid-brain implants. For this we present key-note speakers – international experts in their field – and we invite you all to participate in the discussions or by poster presentations.
We feel convinced that this meeting in the historic surroundings in Uppsala will provide a unique opportunity for all of us to share and update knowledge in this growing field of human communication. We look forward to meeting you in Uppsala.
