Pre-conference Workshop

A pre-conference workshop will be held by one of the EGF working groups on Sunday 8 June at the Scandic Hotel Uplandia, Uppsala.

'Analytical methods for measuring fatty acids in forage'

The main objective is to critically evaluate current methodology used in fatty acid analysis of herbage in order to identify and develop the most reliable, safe and standardised methods to be used in future research.

The workshop is only open to EGF 2008 participants. If you plan to attend the workshop, please tick the appropriate box when registering for the conference.

Programme: Start at 08.30, whole day.
Theme: Progress and ideas for research proposals on 'Development of new tools and processes to study the fate of lipids throughout the forage-feed-food chain'.
Fee: SEK 500. The price will include lunch and coffee/tea. Participants have to make their own arrangements for dinner.
