According to Swedish legislation, VAT (25% or 12%) will be added to all fees.

The delegate fees include: Shuttle bus service between the conference venue and Uppsala city center, Coffee and lunches according to the program, Registration with welcome reception on June 26, Poster sessions with refreshments on June 27 and 28.

Accompanying person: You will be able to register an accompanying person to the social events. Fill in the registration form with your own registration. When you have finished your registration, you will receive an on-screen confirmation. A link to register an accompanying person will be available in the on-screen confirmation. The same link will be provided also in the confirmation e-mail sent out about one week after registration.

Payment

Payment must be made in advance of the conference. All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona).

Swedish delegates
Swedish delegates can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice. If you choose to pay by invoice an administrative fee of SEK 100 will be added. You will receive your invoice by regular mail. VAT will be added according to Swedish legislation and routines.

Delegates from outside Sweden
• According to Swedish legislation and routines, VAT will be added also for delegates from outside Sweden.
• All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
• Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer. From May 15, 2016, we will only accept credit card payments. Invoices must be paid on due date at the latest, otherwise the organizers may cancel your registration and hotel reservation.
• Please note that we accept the following credit cards: VISA and Master Card (Our University does not accept VISA Electron or Maestro).
• Our credit card system is connected to 3D Secure, for your safety. Your credit card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code or PCI Certified.
• Upon choice of payment method “Bank transfer” on the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information such as bank account, IBAN, etc. as a pdf attachment by e-mail within a week from the registration date.
• We will not accept any bank charge deductions
• Unfortunately we cannot accept payment by bank cheques or euro cheques

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation of Registration
Your cancellation must be made in writing and sent to the conference secretariat. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until May 27, 2016, up to which date the total amount, except for a cancellation fee of SEK 750 (excl. VAT), will be refunded. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after May 27, 2016, nor for no-shows for any reasons.

Cancellation of Hotel Reservation
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to Akademikonferens, the conference secretariat. Cancellation of any hotel reservation will be accepted until 14 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is received later than this date, or in case of no-show, the hotel will charge your credit card for the whole stay reserved.

Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible. An administration fee of SEK 250 (excl. VAT) will be charged.
