Instructions for oral presentation

  • Oral presentations will be 10 min long, followed by 5 min for questions and speaker swap. Keynote presentations will be 30 min long, including questions.
  • The hour of your presentation is indicated in the program on the Congress website. Please note that the program might undergo minor last-minute adjustments. During the congress, please contact the chairperson for current information.
  • As soon as possible during the congress, and at the latest 30 min before the start of the session where you should make your presentation, please announce your presence to the chairperson.
  • Each presentation must be provided digitally in Microsoft PowerPoint file format (.PPT or .PPTX).
  • Please do not include video sequences or Internet links in your presentation. Make sure that the file size remains as small as possible when including images. If necessary, to avoid an oversized presentation, either use image processing software before images are embedded or apply the Compress image tool in the Save as dialogue of the PowerPoint program.
  • In May, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to upload your presentation file to the conference. By this route, presentations can be submitted until June 9. Alternatively, you may bring your presentation file on a USB stick.  In the latter case, you must hand in your file to the Technical Services at the latest 30 min before the start of the session where you should make your presentation.
